Friends, being a tequila company, Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos tend to get bunched together in one big scary week. We are celebrating on Monday with a Halloween/Day of The Dead party here at Casa Tanteo. Below are some cocktails we are creating for the celebration (and we spent some time to take nice photos of each)
1. CHIPOTLE ON THE BONES (ROCKS)
Tanteo Chipotle’s heat & smoke can be scary neat, but add some skull shaped ice to cool this cocktail down and for a delightful slow sipper.
2. MEXICAN SPICED APPLE MARGARITA
Get into the season’s spirit with this Jalapeño Spiced Apple Margarita - combine 11/2 oz of Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila with 2 oz of Apple Juice, ¼ oz Fresh Lime Juice and ¼ oz Agave Nectar. Garnish with ground cinnamon.
3. PUMPKIN CHIPOTLE MARGARITA
Combine 2 oz of Tanteo Chipotle Tequila with 1 oz of Pumpkin Purée, 1 oz of Fresh Lemon Juice and ¾ oz Agave Nectar as a great way to spook your margarita
4. SMOKE & MORA MARGARITA
Sugar, spice and everything nice - Combine 2 oz of Tanteo Chipotle Tequila, 4 muddled Blackberries, 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice, ¾ Agave Nectar. Shake well and pour into an ice filled Rocks Glass - the beautiful rich purple color makes this cocktail a fitting libation for the season.
5. THE LAST PEPPER
This is our version of the Last word cocktail made with Tanteo Jalapeño. Add equal parts of Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila, Green Chartreuse, Maraschino Liqueur and Fresh Lime Juice. Shake well and pour into a coupe glass.
